Accessibility Statement
1. Our commitment
We want everyone to be able to use Rizz My Resume, including people with disability. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, which is the standard generally applied under the Americans with Disabilities Act in the United States and the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (Cth) in Australia.
2. What we do
We design and test the Service so that:
- it can be used with a keyboard, with visible focus outlines;
- buttons, dialogs and form fields have labels for screen readers;
- text and controls meet contrast requirements, in light and dark mode;
- pages work on phones and when zoomed to 200%; and
- exported resumes use plain, well-structured text that screen readers and ATS software can read.
We review accessibility as we add features, and fix issues as we find them.
3. Known limitations
- Suggestion highlights in the editor use colour. Each suggestion is also listed as text in the suggestions panel, where you can accept or dismiss it.
- PDF export uses your browser's print feature, so its accessibility depends on your browser.
- Google sign-in and Stripe checkout are run by those companies, which publish their own accessibility information.
4. Tell us about a problem
If something is hard to use, or you need any of our documents in another format, email hello@rizz-my-resume.com. Tell us the page, what you were trying to do and any assistive technology you use. We aim to reply within 5 business days.
If you're not satisfied with our response, in Australia you can contact the Australian Human Rights Commission (humanrights.gov.au).
